Winning a gold medal was one of her dreams, but having a baby was another big dream come true for Carly! Gold medalist Carly Patterson, is the proud mama of a sweet baby boy, Graham Mitchell Caldwell. Carly and her husband Mark, announced the birth of their son, Graham on October 10, 2017. After struggling for quite some time to get pregnant and suffering a miscarriage, Carly and Mark are beyond thrilled to begin their journey in to parenthood. And we were excited to be able to help with the baby bedding for the Patterson nursery!

Carly's nursery ideas included:

1. Neutral colors (they were not finding out the sex of the baby).

2. She loves gold, white and gray.

3. Has a dresser from her grandmother she would like to incorporate in the room.

4. A friend is making a wood toy box for the nursery, that can double as a window seat.

First, we went to work designing the baby bedding, which includes a sweet crib rail cover, muslin crib sheets and neutral striped crib skirt. To keep the crib bedding unisex, we choose fabrics in different shades of khaki, and added color in the crib sheets. Carly chose 2 different sheet patterns from our collection of muslin crib sheets.

To add personalization to the nursery, the crib rail cover for baby Graham included a monogrammed letter "C" in a shade of green that can be found in the Animal Parade Crib Sheet. Carly chose our Animal Parade and Lambie Muslin Crib Sheets for Grahams crib....Having a backup crib sheet is always convenient!

The crib Carly chose for the nursery is the myRoom Convertible Crib from Smartstuff Furniture. This versatile crib adds some texture to the room, and can convert into a toddler or full size bed when Graham gets older.

Although the nursery is neutral, pops of color throughout the room add personality and pizzazz! Mobile, Pom Pom Bins and Pillow are from Pehr Designs.

Throw Pillows in a variety of fabrics accent the handmade wooden toy box. The nursery pillows shown above include our Green and White Stripe, Khaki Stripe, Color Block Neutral and Color Block in Green, Gray and Mustard Pillows.
