With soft blush walls as a back drop (painted with Benjamin Moore Mellow Pink), this colorful nursery sent to us by Helena Ilardo is a wonderful mix of bright hues, floral prints and vintage decor! Helena created a homey, comforting space for baby Emilia, filling her room with both old and new items.
When Helena found out she was pregnant with a baby girl, she was over the moon! She had two boys (ages 6 & 4), so she was excited about designing a dreamy pink nursery that incorporated nostalgic feelings from her childhood. She began designing the room with a floral fabric from Caitlin Wilson which would become the focal point of the nursery.

A bold and playful palette creates a sweet space for Emilia.
The crib skirt, nursery throw pillow and window treatments are made of Caitlin Wilson Mandarin Lily Fabric (sewn by Seaglass Seams). A vibrant palette brought to life in an exotic print that is both sophisticated and chic. Choosing a distinctive fabric goes a long way toward creating a room that both parents and baby will love. The colorful fabric is a playful addition to the nursery and is the perfect blend of pattern and color. It brightens up the room and adds a pop of personality.
A cornflower blue furniture piece, simple rocker and pouf ottoman, white accent table and elephant toy round out the rest of the decor and furnishings. The shelving unit is the perfect spot for memorable keepsakes, picture frames and more. Bright pink pom pom trim on the window treatment and chair pillow adds a punch of color.
Stylish, ageless furniture is always a good investment. The classic furniture and decor items in Emilia's room will easily transition the space to a toddler room as she grows.
Emilia's crib bedding includes our Pink & White Crib Rail Cover embroidered with our popular Elite Cursive Font in blue. A crib rail cover protects the crib from little teeth, but also adds style.

The charming mirror with an accent bow is from Pottery Barn Teen. Coordinating gold sconces are from Shades of Light. The gold accents, including the dresser drawer pulls, add a touch of glamour to the space.
Emilia's nursery is light and airy....Sunlight bounces across the room to give a bright and brilliant feel. We think Helena succeeded in creating a classically feminine nursery with nostalgic charm for her new baby girl!
