Modern Kids Room Reveal

Mom's Best revealed their latest kids room winner!  We are more than excited to share how this amazing space turned out for the 5th Destination Nursery Kids Room Makeover winner.  Hopefully you will get some kids room ideas from this amazing room!

It was fun to be able to participate in this giveaway...We contributed custom bedding for Haven's new room!  The bedding included a White Pique Duvet and an assortment of pillows.  We love the yellow and black room, accented with lots of fun accessories. 

Bedding & Pillow details:   The twin duvet is made of our White Pique fabric, backed in flannel with Lemon Stripe cording and the pillow sham is with Lemon Stripe fabric and white Cording.  Accent pillows were made into fun shapes to create an old school eclectic look.  The 14” triangle pillow is black and white stripe with double cording in a white solid fabric, trimmed out in Yellow Polka Dot.  The 18” pillow is made of Lemon Stripe fabric with double cording in white solid fabric with black and white polka dot in between.  Boxed pillow is white pique fabric with a monogram, corded in yellow solid and black triangle fabric in between.

Shavonne was able to take the items given to her and expound on the initial concept for a modern vintage kids space.  The dimension she added to the main wall, with pop out triangles is so fabulous, as well as the special little reading nook she made from a simple IKEA bookcase!  Each area of her room is so much fun, we love all the attention to detail. The large hand made peg board above the desk is awesome, Shavonne’s husband created it from scratch. Wow! We also love the lockers used as a dresser to stack Haven’s clothes. Genius!

Shavonne also extended the black and white modern vintage theme into the fun jack and jill style bathroom Haven shares with her little brother as well as redid haven’s darling little closet space. Great work Shavonne…it’s absolute perfection!
