Nursery Ideas on The Real!
When we heard the story of a couple who recently had both lost their jobs with a baby on the way, we were excited to help in any way we could. Shalena Smith of Gaga Designs contacted New Arrivals to see if we would be interested in working with her on a surprise nursery for the couple. The nursery would be designed similar to the one designed by Shalena for Tamera Housley, one of the hosts of The Real, a daytime talk show on FOX. Shalena Smith went to work designing a beautiful pink and gold nursery that is both elegant and chic for the couple’s baby girl!
The nursery turned out girly and feminine, featuring white baby bedding and nursery decor items in pink and gold. The butterfly mobile and gold angel wings that creates an enchanting feel in the nursery!
Featured in the nursery is our Large Wooden Letter A on the wall, which gives some personalization to the room. Our large letters are approximately 30" tall, and are available in antique white in any letter A-Z.
One of our monogrammed white pique nursery throw pillows adorns the tufted arm chair in the room. The gold wired side table is both simple and chic. Bookshelves were added to hold keepsakes and knick knacks.
Once the nursery was finished, it was unveiled to the lucky couple by Tamara on The Real!
